Coeur du Var, (Heart of the Var), is a territory to discover in the centre of the department. It’s an opportunity for a beautiful stroll around wine, gastronomy and art, three elements which constitute our true art of living in Provence. The Commanderie de Peyrassol has created a foundation around contemporary art, while other domains offer more intimate collections of works of art but which will give you just as much pleasure. You will also be able to enjoy food and wine pairings proposed by talented chefs in our various wine estates.

Our Lady of the Angels
Chapel rebuilt in 1844, the cloister in its entrance dates from 1900 and in the nave is home to a carved-walnut virgin (17th century) and numerous ex-voto's, painted on canvas, wood or sheet metal.
With its sisters, Silvacane and Sénanque, the Abbey of Thoronet is one of the three Cistercian wonders of Provence. Built between the end of the 12th and the middle of the 13th century, it exudes from this architectural ensemble an impression of unity and great serenity.
Over nearly 80 km, the road of the perched chapels goes by 7 rural chapels in the heart of the Var. All located on a remarkable point of view, these chapels are an opportunity to discover the rich heritage and the most beautiful panoramas of our territory.
