Correns claims to be the first organic village in France. About 80 farmers comply with the principles of organic farming in the commune territory. The cooperative winery is no exception to the rule and offers a selection of fine wines, not to be missed.

Every year in August, the Maîtres Vignerons Bio de Correns, which the wine cooperative is a member, organize a Day of Organic and Natural. The event lasts an entire weekend and offers a series of lectures and screenings of films and documentaries, as well as tasting of organic products.

Original and unusual

With its cliffs and the shimmering Argens River, the Vallon Sourn is a natural paradise where rare and protected flowers are found, such as the linseed leaf Iberis or the martagon Lily. As for wildlife, a bat species nests in the hollow of some faults in the rock, the European free-tailed bat (Molosse de Cestoni).
