Presentation

This group of winemakers always conjugate the verb ‘taste’ in the plural! Today, Les Maîtres Vignerons de Saint Tropez has been a shared human adventure for fifty years, grouping together winemakers in love with their terroir, visionary and concerned about the future of their heritage.

Extra

Conveniently located at the Foux, in the heart of the Saint-Tropez Peninsula, on the main road between Gassin and Ramatuelle, the wine shop of Les Maîtres Vignerons receives 40,000 visitors each year. Renovated in 2014, you can discover a new 400m2 retail space, inviting and contemporary. A team of professionals will advise you in choosing your wine.

Original and unusual

In 1973, Georges Duboeuf, the King of Beaujolais, created an original bottle evoking antique wine amphorae. He named it "La Majorette du Beaujolais" and destined it exclusively to its best vintages. The story might have ended there if the man from Romanèche-Thorins hadn’t counted among his close friends one of Maitres Vignerons of the Saint-Tropez Peninsula. Seduced by the Majorette, he convinced his colleagues to adopt it for a new high-end wine: Carte Noire. Since then, the Var have expanded the use of the one they renamed "the tropezian bottle", now devoting it two other cuvees: Cep d'Or and Grain de Glace.
