Domaine des Terres Blanches is located at the foot of the northern side of the Alpilles mountains— along the Roman Road Aurelia. After taking a path winding up to the cellar you’ll be received by the estate’s proprietor, Christian Latouche or his team. Noël Michelin created the vineyard in 1968 and Mr Latouche has since managed to maintain his precious legacy.
The public reception is particularly well-cared for in the domain des Terres Blanches, which opens its cellar every day of the year. Here, wine lovers or curious people have the freedom to go through the vineyard, parcels after parcels, map and didactic guide on hand, to discover its secrets during signposted and illustrated walks. This is rare enough to be emphasised.
Domaine des Terres Blanches grows no less than 12 grape varieties: Grenache and Syrah, which express themselves particularly well in this terroir, but also Cinsault, Counoise, Cabernet, Mourvèdre, Clairette, Roussane, Sauvignon, Marsanne, Rolle and Ugni blanc.
