Presentation

Domaine de la Garenne is located at a short distance from the valley of Saint Côme, in la Cadière d'Azur. La Garenne is full of charm. The sound of cicadas and the scent of the pine forest at the entrance of the estate is everywhere. Charm is in the smile of Beatrice, the owner, and in the salmon color of the house rosés.

The vines benefit from 3000 hours of sunshine a year and the domain practices a reasoned agricultural, much more respectful of the environment.

Original and unusual

Maître Braquety acquired the castle of Castellet (which bears his name) and the surrounding land two hundred years ago. On one of them, he developed a "garenne" or, in other words, a large rabbit warren. Over the years, the property expanded to 27 hectares. Vine stocks of Grenache, Cinsault and Mourvèdre were planted in 1941, the year of birth of the AOC Bandol. They would give more than thirty years later the first wines of La Garenne!
