Presentation

The Domain of Cantarelle was founded in 1974 and developed by the Dieudonné family in the 2000s to become the largest vineyard of the Coteaux Varois en Provence AOC. The authenticity of the terroir, its colors, its perfumes, its landscapes immediately seduced Pascal Debon who became the owner of the Domain in 2017. A new adventure began with significant investments in the vineyard and in the wine making equipment for even better quality wines.

Extra

Since July 2019, the Domain has built a true craft distillery equipped with a Charentais pot still that produces Cantarelle Gin de Provence, a gin made with Provence grapes and 100% natural aromas. It is possible to visit the distillery.

Original and unusual

The dovecote built in Brue-Auriac by Roux de Corse at the end of the 18th century is the largest in France, and probably in Europe. Since 1791, its completion date, no other has reached its dimensions: 23 metres high and about 13 metres in diameter. Fallen into disuse, it was restored in the ‘90s. Since, the town has even received the Diploma from the Guinness Book of Records for “the biggest dovecote in Europe built around 1750".
