Presentation

Comptoir des Vins de Flassans is the perfect example of the revival of cooperatives in Provence. At first sight it’s obvious that if the cellar is not young, (the wine shop, by contrast, is relatively new). A few years ago, the cooperative was selling all of its production to traders. Today, it is keeping part of it for its own bottling, and this emancipation has proved to be quite a success!

Original and unusual

The cellars of Cabasse and Flassans were both created in 1912, before merging together to become Comptoir des Vins de Flassans.
