Presentation

The cooperative of Puget Ville has many assets, among them generous nature, attentive winegrowers and modern cellar. With a vast vineyard planted in the land of the Pierrefeu region, one of the best in Var, Le Cellier de Saint Sidoine offers a nice range of Côtes de Provence, the fruit of 90 years of expertise and of a successful and recent makeover.

Extra

Wine is even better when it is paired with good food. So Cellier Saint Sidoine went on a hunt to offer some beautiful products of the local terroir. On the menu: tapenades, olive oil, jams and a nice selection of honey (rosemary, heather, lavender, oak, lime etc.).

Original and unusual

In 1987, thinking of renaming La Pugétoise to witness its revival, the Puget Ville winemakers have turned to one of the village landmarks: an isolated tower in the vineyards, the last vestige of the ancient Chapel of Saint Sidonius, the old village church destroyed in 1847. It was named after Cidonius, born blind and miraculously healed by Jesus, who came to Provence to preach the Christian faith.
