Facing the Sainte-Baume massif, this old domain has been resurrected by a family of passionate winegrowers. This is a charming place, a beautiful vineyard with an old wine tradition: We understand why the whole Martin family decided to settle down in this green paradise at the door of Saint-Maximin. The domain had a history, now its new owners are giving it a future.

The Domaine Saint-Mitre organizes tasting aperitifs in the evening. After a showing of the vineyard and a cellar tour, you’ll be offered an introduction to wine tasting _— suitable to the level of knowledge of each participant, before enjoying the estate's wines with accompanying dishes.

Original and unusual

Until the late 50s, the domain was known throughout the valley for its Farmer’s Market, held in the courtyard of this old farmhouse. Animals, fruits, vegetables and wine were offered in abundance to the people of Saint-Maximin, who would then drive away in their Simca Aronde or Peugeot 203’s with their trunk full of beautiful produce.
