With discretion, this family business has made its place among the good producers of Bandol wines. The trades of the land are harsh, and viticulture is no exception to the rule. And yet, in Galantin things are done smoothly. The beginnings half a century ago were modest, but the domain now produces wines of great sweetness born from the talent of the youngest in the house; they are affordable, even for long aging wines.

In summer, every Thursday at 6pm sharp, the Galantin organizes a tour of its winery, followed by a free tasting. Note also that the domain offers houses tastefully decorated, well equipped, with excellent value for money!

Original and unusual

It is customary to say that there are no vineyards in Bandol and if one speaks today of Bandol wines, it is only because in ancient times, bottles and demijohns went by sea from the Bandol port. However, there are indeed vineyards in Bandol. Less, it is true, but Domaine le Galantin still operates some of the last acres to have escaped the rapid urbanization of this charming seaside town.
