Presentation

Clos d'Alari is a small domain full of beautiful surprises. Anne-Marie Vancoillie landed in the Var countryside in 1980 in search of a vacation house, tranquillity and sunshine. Thirty years later, she has found here something else: Love! Love of the wines of Provence that is. A passion she shares today with her daughter and fans of her Clos d'Alari.

Extra

Le Clos d'Alari counts hundreds of olive trees from which the hostess draws a high quality oil with flavours of cut hay and purple artichoke, and a peppery finish which seasons beautifully a mouthful of salad or the fine flesh of a grilled fish. A delicacy to take away or eat on site, as the property offers indeed a beautiful guesthouse, a large and beautiful Provençal house furnished with taste and originality.

Original and unusual

There’s a good chance that your arrival at the domain will be announced by Ubu’s friendly barking. This lovely dachshund is not only the guardian of the place, it’s also Anne-Marie Vancoillie’s valuable assistant when winter comes and Nature treats us with the most precious mushrooms: truffles. Indeed, the Clos d'Alari enjoys a truffle field of 160 trees, a true playground for Ubu, a perfect truffle dog who is unique in his ability to find the melanums sporums.
