Presentation

This estate benefits fully of the beautiful Borrels terroir. We can still count the vintages of this Hyères estate on the fingers of both hands. However, if it has converted to bottling late, it admits already more than a century of existence. Four generations of the family Scarone have indeed succeeded at its head.

Extra

The valley of Borrels gives more than good wines. It also housed in the not so distant times a flourishing orchard. There remains something: in the summer, in addition to its wines, Domaine des Trois Chênes sells perfectly ripe white peaches, apricots and olive oils.

Original and unusual

The unique Chapel of the Borrels Valley was built in 1950 and is dedicated to Saint-Lambert. Born in Bauduen at the beginning of the first millennium, this monk of the Abbey of Lérins was elected Bishop of Vence. During the time of his prelature, this man beloved by his contemporaries was as austere with himself as he was generous with his neighbours. God himself ended this strict diet on a Friday. While the fasting of Lent had weakened him, Lambert asked for a glass of water that suddenly turned into wine. Shaken by this miracle, the bishop did not give up so far in his asceticism. So he sent the wine back for water that again turned into wine in his contact. This prodigy was repeated three times. The divine message could not be clearer!
