Presentation

Owned by the Bologna family for several generations, the Domaine des Tournels majestically dominates, from its 110ha, Pampelonne bay, at the foot of the Camarat lighthouse. The cultivated 55 hectares are devoted to the cultivation of the vine, entirely trellised to favor an optimal exposure of the grapes and to obtain a wine of high quality.

Located on an exceptional site, Camping Tournels 5 étoiles was born in 1961; it’s a beautiful family story in the heart of the vineyard. At the foot of the lighthouse of Camarat, overlooking the famous bay of Pampelonne and facing the Provencal village of Ramatuelle, the centennial 20-hectare pine forest houses 898 camping accommodations including 350 rentals. Tournels Campground has the necessary infrastructure for a dream vacation: an aquatic area of 4000m2 with a river and water slides, a relaxation area “Entre vignes et mer”, and also a restaurant “Le Jardin des Pins”.

Original and unusual

The origin of the name "Tournels" is unknown. It is thought to come from an old place where grains were separated from the spike for wheat production. But it could also be the name of one of the domain’s former owners.
