Presentation

The 19th century bastide (country house) with its azure blue shutters is set in the midst of a preserved natural setting. In an authentic and charming atmosphere, bordering the Etang de Berre, the estate boasts a terroir between land and sea. Linking past and present, it’s located on a simply idyllic setting, bathed in Provençal colours. It is worth a visit, either on a whim or for a thematic evening.

Extra

Its 200 hectares in the middle of the scrubland shelter a rich biodiversity, a unique ecosystem with a fauna and flora that one would not expect to see in the heart of a vineyard. At the Suriane Estate, it is common to come across exotic birds, such as huppes, rolliers d'Europe, guêpiers, swans, flamingos and even, looking up, bonelli eagles.

Original and unusual

Her stone sale cellar is just like her—utterly charming, with a philosophy based on sharing. Besides wines, cooked wine (in a copper cauldron) and homemade vieux cognac, you’ll find an impressive array of good local products to drink (beers, infused rums), to eat (spreads, delicatessen, honeys) and even beauty products (including a shower gel made from the estate’s olive oil).
