A former Templar base has found its treasure: wine. At the heart of the Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence, Château Montaurone continues a centuries-old tradition in the preserved setting of a typical Provençal countryside.
Extra
Château Montaurone offers beautiful surprises to visitors strolling down the main walkway of the domain: waterfall, streams, meadows, large old poplars and elms, agricultural hills and hillside vineyards.
Original and unusual
Part of the production is going to restaurants under the name "Château Touloubre", a property located near the river of the same name, below the domain. This river flows into the Mediterranean Sea after having travelled more than 50 miles through the Bouches-du-Rhône.
