In the heart of Provence, Château Margillière cultivates a success made of tradition and modernism. Located a few kilometres from Brignoles, it’s one of the places that matter in the Coteaux Varois. The Caternet family has been working for fifteen years on turning this domain into a wine benchmark.
Besides participating in the Art and Wine Initiative, which allows artists to exhibit their work in different areas of the region, Château Margillière organizes regularly various cultural events: theatre, exhibitions and art openings. The mezzanine above the wine shop is divided into two big rooms where receptions and seminars can be held.
During construction by the Provence Canal, a splendid votive altar dated to the 2nd century was discovered under a plot at the entrance of the domain. Dedicated to the god of the spring that flows through the middle of the estate, it will soon be exhibited at the domain.
