Presentation

It’s one of the domains that have made the success of rosé from Provence. With thesis in hand, Régine Sumeire originally wanted to teach history, but she finally wrote it by being among the first winemakers in Provence! More than two decades later, she is one of the most respected figures in Mediterranean winemaking.

Extra

Régine Sumeire signs more than her wines; she also wrote a cookbook: “Winemaker and Gourmand.” Available in French, English and Chinese, this beautiful book delivers fifty different recipes, from Mediterranean classics to more unusual dishes, including sweetbreads in a “Rose Petal” wine sauce!

Original and unusual

Régine Sumeire is a fulfilled winemaker: She owns indeed two of the finest vineyards in Provence. On top of Barbeyrolles, her pretty castle in St Tropez and the Tour l’Evêque, a domain of about 90 hectares located in Pierrefeu.
