Presentation

The Romans were already cultivating its land; its centuries-old building is surrounded by three-hundred hectares, forty of which are vines: Welcome to Château Barbebelle one of the oldest wine estates in the Aix Country. It is home of the Herbeau family for three generations. This saga continues today with the fourth generation: at 24, just graduated from business school, Madeleine decided to lend a hand to her father Brice to further increase the reputation of this great and beautiful property.

Extra

Looking for an unusual setting for an event with friends, association or family of forty people? Château Barbebelle offers its hunting room, a large scenic room decorated with trophies and numerous paintings of hunting scenes.

Original and unusual

The Herbeau family likes vines and horses. Château Barbelle raises competition horses. Some of its residents have excelled in the past in Jumping, such as Dollar de la Pierre, world champion in the 2002 team jumping competition. Other horses have been distinguished in trot, signing several victories on racetracks in the South of France, such as Fougasse and La Chesnaie. The house colours are white and royal blue striped toque and white helmet with a royal blue belt.
