In Pierrefeu, one of the largest vineyards in Provence rhymes quality and quantity. From the first Roman winemakers to one of the major players in the wine producing regions of France, the history of Château Gordonne is particularly rich. But if it has often changed hands, it rarely varied its course: that of good wine!
The rose garden, a must-see of your visit to the Château La Gordonne, has been designed as a natural laboratory for our cellar master. Thus, he finds among the 1652 rose bushes that it contains dozens of color variations going from the softest to the strongest pink.
The domain was once home to a beautiful chapel. Its original bell dating back to 1654 is piously kept at the castle. The decoration consists of a row of foliage and a cross with scrolls on base with two tiers and the inscription "Jesus, Maria, Joseph", which is found on the label of the cuvee Chapelle Gordonne.
