Presentation
Near Aix-en-Provence, this beautiful 18th-century castle is leaning against the Cengle plateau. Château de la Galinière’s vineyard is fully trellised to withstand the onslaught of the Mistral winds and capture maximum brightness. This freshness and sun are found in its wines!
Original and unusual
Pope Pius VII slept in the castle twice. A plaque at the heart of the chapel and adorned with the papal arms, mentions two dates: August 5, 1809 and February 7, 1814.
