Presentation

A historic domain with a long winemaking tradition, convenient to very drinkable rosés and to red in the powerful and complex aromas

Extra

The Astros domains are famous for their "Pick Apples" operation. Every summer in late August, the property opens to the public for two months to the orchards of 10,000 apple trees from a dozen different varieties.

Original and unusual

Typical of Tuscan mansions, adorned with statues and a pond enthroned in a park, the Château d'Astros was the setting for Yves Robert’s movie "My Mother's Castle." Those who have seen this feature film will remember the famous scene where the Pagnol family run through the castle guarded by an old drunk played by Jean Carmet and his dog Mastoc.
