The wines of this domain are aged with passion, patience and love. In Pontevès, Lucie Moutonnet-Demirdjian enthusiastically runs and develops the Domaine de la Mercadine. Discover here lovely wines and the young winemaker’s good humor.
Extra
Lucie Moutonnet-Demirdjian offers a personalized reception in the cellar with tasting, visit of the domain, and discovery of the harvest or school field trips. The estate also has a wine shop in Barjols, next to the office of tourism. It is a great way to restock if you can’t make it again to Ponteves!
Original and unusual
Domaine de la Mercadine is located in the plain that extends to the foot of the two hills called Bessillons. In Provence, ‘Bessillons’ means ‘little twins’. “Whether it was local geological influence or a coincidence: I had twins and so did a neighbour of mine”, says Lucia with a big smile!
