The Count Guillaume de Chevron Villette has recently taken over this domain, which was a pioneer in organic farming in Provence. It’s not just any domain, but one that gathers all the ingredients necessary to make good wine: water, gentle winds, living earth, and to tie everything together, respectful and passionate men.
Since 2010 Château La Sauveuse offers its extra virgin olive oil, certified organic. Fruity and sweet, it goes well with salads, vegetables and grilled fish.
An ancient Roman road crosses the lands of La Sauveuse: the Via Aurelia. Linking Rome and Hispania, it may have facilitated the growth of the Provencal vineyard by offering local wines opportunities throughout the Empire.
