Presentation

It’s one of the oldest domains of the Cassis AOC, and one of the most remarkable, too. This is the only domain of Cassis to be right on the waterfront. This feature undoubtedly contributes to the quality of its wines, their natural and typicality. But here, Nature doesn’t do everything; there is also the work of a family: the Sack- Zafiropulo.

Extra

Le Clos Sainte Magdeleine organizes guided tours of the domain followed by a tasting, from April to September for groups of 20 people (from Monday to Saturday, at 11am and at 4pm, €10 per person). From October to March, visits are by appointment only. It’s a great opportunity to discover, among others, the picturesque buried cellar (it dates back to the 19th century), and taste the house wines.

Original and unusual

In the 1970s, the Clos Sainte Magdeleine served as the backdrop to a sequence of Borsalino, the masterpiece of Jacques Deray, forever immortalizing the duo formed by Jean-Paul Belmondo and Alain Delon, two giants of the French cinema.
