Presentation
Between Sky and Earth, a former Navy officer paratrooper produces quality wines. After distant and hectic destinations, the heart of Xavier Verges now beats for wines. It is a homecoming, or rather an Earth coming for this winemaker who now owns Château Deffends where he signs high-level wines.

Château Deffends offers for rent a charming cottage nestled in the heart of the vineyards. Fully equipped, it can accommodate up to 6 people.
Original and unusual
It is said that Noël Blache bought the Château Deffends to get away from the bustle of the city of Toulon where he resided. So when he was elected mayor in 1870, his return to the port city caused him such torment that he sat there only three months!
